A good honest friend! Everybody craves for it. Don't you? Of course yes. Nobody is out of this world. Everybody is popular or rather recognized by someway or the other. Your virtues entices others. Many may be around you because you are intellectual or because of your charming personality,helpfulness, hilarious nature or whatever. We enjoy their company and so they do. We may boast of big friend circle. We enjoy and share our happiness or ecstacy with them and bask in the friendship. When things go your way everything is set to perfection. We enjoy, we live and we love life.
Unfortunately life isn't that smooth. At some point of life we have to encounter failures. It is then we are a looser. We are distressed and depressed. If I fail someday how many backs will I get to see? How many will really come up to share my grief, sorrows and put genuine selfless efforts to do away my anxieties and problems.How many will really stand by me when I am not myself !?! Very few. I am sure very few or may be none(unconsidering the family). The crowd may disperse leaving you solitary!
It is at such point of life we actually recognize our true and honest pal(s). we may have a box of attractive, beautiful, huge collection of gems but out of them ony seldom we find the rare and precious ones!! If you are fortunate to have discovered that then that is the best present one can ever ask for in life. Such gems are invaluable. Isn't it?

Oh yeah..its very hard to get such gems in rael life...believe me...people who will accept you the way you are and still enjoy being with you..and yes, very few will stick around when you are going thru the hard times ...
The good and true ones are rare but once you find them, they cling to you like leeches....eeeeeek! What a comparison! But I guess I expressed myself. ;)
